Pick your poison: Once you choose your gem style, Em helps map placement based on your teeth and your vibe.
Prep & bond: Your tooth gets prepped, and the gem is bonded with the same adhesive they use for braces. Professional -grade not DIY garbage.
Set & cure: Gem is locked and loaded. You will be provided with aftercare instructions to keep that bling intact.
Application time: 30 - 45 minutes depending on complexity.

Can I get a tooth gem?
You can get a tooth gem if you’re 18+ years old (or 16+ with a parent/guardian present), have healthy teeth and gums with no active cavities or gum disease, haven’t had recent dental work on the application tooth, and aren’t currently pregnant or breastfeeding.

How long do tooth gems last?
Tooth gems typically last between 6 months and several years depending on placement, your bite pattern, and how well you care for them. Some people keep the same gem/s for years, others need replacements sooner. It varies person to person.
Does getting a tooth gem hurt?
Nope. There’s no drilling, no needles, no pain. The gem is bonded to your tooth surface using dental-grade adhesive (the same stuff used for braces). The whole process takes 15-30 minutes and you’ll feel nothing except maybe a bit of pressure during application.
Will a tooth gem damage my teeth?
No. Tooth gems use temporary dental adhesive that bonds to enamel without causing damage. When removed by a dentist, the adhesive comes off cleanly without harming your tooth. It’s the same bonding material orthodontists use for braces.
Can I remove a tooth gem myself?
Don’t. We don’t remove tooth gems at Roxxi’s, and you shouldn’t DIY it either. Your dentist can safely remove it anytime without damaging your tooth. Trying to pick it off yourself can damage your enamel, just let a professional handle it.
What happens if my tooth gem falls off?
If it falls off within the first 30 days, we’ll replace it for free. Gems can fall off due to eating habits, tooth grinding, or just bad luck - it happens.
Can I eat and drink normally with a tooth gem?
Yes, once the initial 2-hour curing period is done. Just avoid biting down directly on hard objects (ice, hard candy, bottle caps) with your gem tooth. Brush and floss normally, just be gentle around the gums.
Can I get a tooth gem if I have braces or a retainer?
Now while you have braces on. Once braces are off, you’re good to go. If you wear a removable retainer, that’s usually fine. Em can assess and discuss this with you further during your consultation.
Do I need an appointment for a tooth gem?
Nope. Walk-ins are welcome. Most applications are done same-day.
