Specialising in: American traditional inspired tattoos, bold lines with heavy black shading and pops of colour, working with symmetry, patterns and repetition. Handpoked freckles.
Secondary styles: Fineline tattoos, script, and illustrative tattoos.
Signature style & technique: Inspired by music, horror and fantasy imagery. I love to transform those concepts into bold, predominantly black tattoos referencing album covers, movie stills and old fantasy books or magazines. I particularly enjoy doing freehand gap fillers or customising my flash to suit my clients vision and the space they are wanting to fill
Availability: Walk-ins/ appointments/ consultations - Sunday through to Wednesday. Steph is also available for appointments outside of these hours.
Alley Juice a.k.a Steph is a Melbourne born and based artist specialising in traditional bold inspired tattoos that embody the darker themes in life and nature - think skulls, bones, chains, weapons and spiders.
Influenced by metal, punk and horror of course Steph is often found totally absorbed in a loud music gig when not tattooing. Dichotomy is key and country calls. Exploring the bush while hunting for bones, long walks and scouring op shops for the next dopamine bargain is the ultimate tools down.
Steph can work in a range of styles to suit your personal taste, but dark traditional is really where it’s at.
